    Have dna proof but name not on berth certificate
    Took dna test in California for child in New Mexico, but my name is not on berth certificate
    What are my legal rights on this issue

    Did the DNA test prove you to be the father ?

    Is any other man listed as father on birth certificate ?

    Is the women married at time of birth to another man ?

    Assuming there is no husband and no other person listed as father, you have the right to ask for partial custody, or for visitation and to see your child.

    Also you will have the obligation to pay child support
