When someone tell you that they put their pride aside because you're in a situation ?
When someone tells you that they put their pride aside because you're in a going through a difficult situation what do they mean by pride aside? Why are they saying for this I do put my pride aside?? Are they blaming me for something I did or said?? Or are they feeling guilt for something they said or did??

They mean they are sacrificing something to help you out, and maybe you don't deserve it, or appreciate what they do.

Yes, they are being a little rude to let you know that they may not have wanted to help, perhaps thought it was not their place, or even it was your fault for needing the help but they will anyway
