What a wacked day. Friday the 13th for sure.

Hospital ER was stacked and racked. Too many people off for summer fun meant subs who made mistakes.

    All day long.

I looked down. Started fixing mistakes made not by me. An hour and a half blew by like the wind.

All I can say is wow. And wow. Dizzying, maddening, dumb mistakes ad nauseum. The last one was just awful... but caught barely in time. If I hadn't seen it and fixed it and found out later... id not have slept for days. Brutal day.

There... I've said it out loud. Purged.

    Ovah.

    No more shop talk.

Muddy... you break my heart every time you post a new ava. That's a good thing. Cute brunettes jus' slay me.

All y'alls food talk made me want pad thai. Now. Please?

    ...

    Funny quote of the day.

My son was over to my place tonight.. he's 6... holding his junk and any parent knows with a boy that can really mean need of a bathroom break. I ask "do you need to go to the bathroom?" and he says "no. i was just keeping it balanced"...

    I love little kids.

No pretense. Not many filters. Funny sh#t.

    Your son is adorable KP.

I still laugh when I remember the time Jared was around 3. We were late going to a party so I suggested that father and son shower together, save time. Jared sat in the tub while it filled with water, and R stood under the shower.

After the shower Jared comes up to me and says "Mommy, daddy's pee pee is huge! Will mine be that big one day?"

All I could think is "Ya, it's huge to a 3 year old!"

    I'm a mean person. :(

    Priceless.

My son did the same. I'm nothing special and nothing sad. Hold my own. Figuratively sometimes, literally sometimes? ;)

So my son did the same thing at four... wide eyed and complimenting one night in the bathroom when he was bathing and I was using the bathroom for other needs...

And I thought... dude... you are growing like your grandfather, who was 6 inches taller than me (and I'm not short)... and... uh... a little more this and that in the this and that category...

So... I'm sure the combination of fearlessness, cute, and, well, lets just say the entire package... yeah... I'm jealous of a 6 year old.

I might have my sh#t together, but it took time. This kid... he is hard wired for naughtiness out of the gate. College fund/bail money. It is a toss up.

My daughter is the one I worry about. She's beautiful, and I'm not just saying that because she's mine.

Big brown eyes, long lashes, thick brown hair, dimples, and a smile that makes you melt. She's also smart as a whip and fearless.

She's going to cause me many sleepless nights when she starts dating. Thankfully that not happening until she's 30, if I can help it. ;)

My son is a charmer, but he lacks the confidence. Of course he's only 11 (12 in Sept) so I'm sure that will come in time. When it does, I'm in trouble, as is every female within a 10 miles radius (that's how far he can ride his bike without getting tired ;))

Fearless is so, so good and so, so bad.

Good wins, I think... but it comes at a price... paid by the parents, I think...

Fearless is good, and bad, so very bad.

I just hope her intelligence wins over. Didn't work for me, but I never claimed to be smart. ;)

    Got to love Florida!

My daughter called me last night about 9:30 and she said, "Don't open the front door"!

Went to look out the windows on the front door, as she is standing in the street, and there is a little, baby alligator on the front porch. This one was only about a foot long. (had one a few years ago about 3 feet long)

She wasn't so worried about this one, but scared the mother might be about. Her boyfriend scared it off into the front garden... :)

They could have course bite you, and the possibility of infection would be a concern too. We get some good sized ones in the nearby park. Most often just sunning themselves on the side of the water and they usually take off if someone gets too close. Rule of thumb in Florida... if there is water, expect an alligator to be in it!

Every now and then you hear of one being in someone's swimming pool, and they can be seen on golf courses sometimes too. Talk about a water hazard when playing a round of golf!

Here's a clip of a small one in a parking lot and one that had been wandering a neighborhood:

KP, your son sounds adorable! And Alty you're right, you little girl is gorgeous. She will not only cause you many sleepless nights, but a few boys too! J will come around, he's already got a good head on his shoulders, if only he can stop hitting his little sis :p But he seems to be very caring, and loving, a great combo.

My little rug rat, we'll that's a totally different story. She is possibly the spawn of Satan. She is smart, way too smart for a 3 year old. And she remembers EVERYTHING. She is funny as hell in that smart mouth kind of way. Sometimes you don't know if you want to punish her for life or laugh your butt off. And with HUGE blue eyes, blond hair, and a voice that melts your heart, it's needless to say she gets away with way more then she should. Especially when Papa is around.

Yep. Alligators in Florida. Went to visit my aunt and alligators in the back yard. Big ones.

Saw lots at the cape which was on the other side.

Today I'm going to 'visit' (stalk) the coffee table I'm bidding on in next sundays auction.

I'm obsessing over a coffee table.

Work tomorrow will be a welcome break from decorating the house.

90s cartoon kids movie about the circus [ 4 Answers ]

Okay, so the movie that I cannot figure out was made in the 90s, I think, because I was a 90s kid. I remember watching it in daycare. But anyway... the movie took place near a carnival or circus and it had a boy in it too. I don't remember the plot or anything. Wow, that shows how much of the 90s I...
