What is your undergraduate degree? That will determine to a large extent whether you can get into Med School. I am not aware of any Physicians who post on AMHD.

We do have a labor/delivery nurse here.

I'm working on my undergrad now.. not too worried about being able to get in just as to what to expect.. I currently hold a 4.0 GPA... I don't forsee it being an issue getting in... I kind of wanted to know what med school itself would be like and residency..

It does take more than a 4.0 GPA. Candidates are evaulated on much more. But, that being said, you wanted to know what it is like in med school. Here are some sites that spell it out very well:

Are you thinking becoming a neonatologist or a neonatal nurse (practiioner)?

Rewarding, no question, but expect long hours for schooling and residency. J_9 can certainly attest to the work and dedication required.
