I cut my toenail wrong and now it is ingrowing is there anyway to help this in the home without going to a podiatrist?

Cut a small wedge in the center of the nail. Then it will grow toward the wedge and away from the toe.

If you were normally trimming your nail, you would trim it basically straight. Instead of that, you trim it and cut a small 'V' or 'U' shaped wedge in the middle of the trim line.
Your nail should look like this when you are through ---> ______ ______

Formatting for my diagram did not work. It will have a v shape in the middle of the trim line of the nail
