Hampton bay uc7080t remote not working
    Product: Ceiling Fan
    TYPE: Hampton Bay, Remote Control
    Model: UC7080T

PROBLEM: The Remote stopped working. The fan is stuck on high speed.
Repairs Tried: Replaced the battery in the remote. The red light on the remote does not come on at all. Checked the connections to the receiver card inside the ceiling fan and they were all in place.

Thanks for any help on where to get replacement parts.

I opened ours up and cleaned off the electronics where the rubber buttons touch. It seems the rubber or whatever the material is for the button melted onto the board, making it hard for the current to signal that the button is being pressed, if you push really hard it works... until you give up from having to push the button so hard. Our controller has a problem with the top light button (the dim one). Time for another cleaning.

:) Hi, I purchased a fan less than a year ago and the sensor on the remote seems to have gotten some kind of glitch. The little red sensor light stays on continuously, instead of going out after pressing a function. When I shut off the fan, and go to put the remote down, it starts up in high...
