Hello. I am looking for a movie title, and I don't have very much information about the movie.
My dear old dad (82 years old and having memory problems) is wanting to see a movie he saw in England as a child. He only remembers three things about the movie: 1) one of the stars in the movie came out of a tent with half his face (and perhaps head) shaved and it was funny and 2) another man in the movie (my dad thinks he had black-coloured skin) stared at the half-shaved man as if he were crazy to shave half his face and 3) (nothing to do with the film, but a clue nonetheless) that a piano rose out of the movie's stage and that a piano man played the score to the movie live, so I'm thinking it MIGHT be a silent movie. He thinks he was approximately 6-16 years old, so he would have seen the movie between 1934 and1944 (he was evacuated to the coast between the ages of 11 and 13). Thank you to any movie buff who might be able to help with so few details. My dad just wants to see it one more time.
