    Training a Yorkie
My yorkie Molly will only go to the bathroom out side for me.When another family member takes her out she just stands there. I am also having a hard time to get her to walk on a leash. I put her harness on her and her leash and she lays flat on her stomach. Any ideas?

You may to solve the second before the first. I have had good luck getting a stubborn puppy moving by dropping behind it and then running in baby steps past it while calling ''Go, go, go!'' in an excited voice. A little embarrassing out in public. Praise her when she starts moving.

Once you have her moving on the leash, let the other person take her out when they have some time to spend. Select a time when she needs to go, the first thing in the morning, after a meal, whatever. Make sure the other person does things the way you do. If she doesn't go, keep her moving. Moving stimulates the body. So keep her moving one way or another. Throw balls or sticks for her, etc. Do give her a chase to stop and sniff. She can't hold it forever. Eventually nature has its way. Then praise her, perhaps a treat.

To help her relationship with others, perhaps let them take over feeding her. It is quite natural for a dog to be attached to one member of the family more than the rest, but she needs to accept the others.

You may find other help in the stickies at the top of the dog forum.
