My last period began on July 23,2010 and according to several online ovulation calculators, I was supposed to be the most fertile from July 29-Aug 3. I had unprotected sex pretty much every day from July 27-Aug 2 and my partner ejaculated inside me on the 27th and the 29th. Since sperm can live inside the woman for up to 5 days(?) is it pretty likely that I could be pregnant? I have been having aversions to food and I am tired all the time.it's a little too early to test, but I was just wondering..

How long are you cycles usually... from one period to the next?
Pregnancy is always a possibility when you have sex, especially when it is unprotected. You may be one of the lucky ones who tries to become pregnant and finds it happens right away. Many couples will find it takes much longer, however, and this can be perfectly normal. Most will become pregnant in the first year of trying.
If you were close to ovulation, then yes, the sperm can survive for a number of days, although most die off within about 3 or 4. The online ovulation calculators give you a starting place, but some women will naturally ovulate a bit sooner and some a bit later than what the calculator suggests.

Some urine tests, along with blood tests, will pick up a pregnancy about 8-10 days after ovulation. However, the majority of women won't get an accurate result that soon with a urine test. Best to wait and see what happens when your next period is due. If it doesn't show, or is unusual in some way... arrives early/late, lighter flow, shorter days, try a pregnancy test.

My cycles are 25 days apart, and I have actually been trying for about 3 months now with no luck yet. So I'm hoping it works out this time...
