    Janitorial Marketing
Hello I am new to the site.

I just wanted to see if I could inquire about the most effective way to market my janitorial business, in a very economical way?

Craigslist, although you have to repost frequently.

A simple, one-page, black and white flyer with very little useless sales talk and heavy on facts. You can make one in Word, Publisher, Microsoft Works, etc, and include your face picture. This will be very inexpensive to make copies of, and you can distribute them by hand, mail, etc.

Do a Google map. Do a search for janitorial services in your area, study the Google maps that come up, and then do your own. Google maps now also allows you to include coupons.

Feel free to contact me and I'll be happy to send you a document on how to do your map correctly - I promise I won't bug you!! [email protected]

I'm in the business of getting leads for janitorial services.
I'll give you good tip. Pick up the phone and make at least 50 calls a day.
If you do this daily you will get at least 1 job a week.

It's a numbers game, and calling someone to offer a free walk through on their property makes it easy to get into the building.
We get jobs from 5,000 sq ft. and up by using this method.

The key is getting around the gate keeper. Do anything in your power to make them fell important. Once you gain their trust, you can find out anything. Like is the boss happy with the cleaning company?

If you get the job make sure you do something nice for the gatekeeper. This way if your staff is missing up he or she will contact you and you don't lose the job.

I'll be more than happy to help with any questions people may have on using the phone to get more jobs.

    Thanks,

    Robert
