    I'm being sued by credit card company
    Hi.im being sued by credit card company,I have a summons on sept 13,2010,I don't know what to do can someone help me with this.

    Do you have a defense (why you haven't paid)?

    Ask for documentation (proof) of the debt.

    Yes lost my job,as for proof,applied on line,when you say proof, what does that mean.I did charge on the card.

    Well, you could demand proof of the debt and HOPE they can't find it.

    Inability to pay, unfortunately, is not a defense.
