I'm having a hard time trying to figure out what is going. 10 months ago I had a beautiful baby boy. In March 2010 my periods started back after having him. I had my last period July 3 and They have been pretty regular 29-30 days. Last month (July 18) my husband and I had sex. I checked several ovulation calendars and they all said I would be ovulating July 16-21. My period was due Aug 2 and I have been having cramping, discharge, headaches, and nausea for the last 2 weeks but more so these last few days. Today is the worst. I just want to crawl back in bed. I took two test one July 30 which came up negative and one this morning Aug 4 and that came out negative... What is going on with me? HELP!!

It could be that your period is just late, happens to all of us. Are you stressed, taking medication, change in diet, weight loss, weight gain, etc. All these things can effect your period.

It could also be that it's just too early to test.

Wait another week or two. If you still haven't gotten your period, take another hpt, use first morning urine as it's more accurate.

I'm having a very similar problem (read my only post). My baby is a bit older, he's 16 months but I'm late too. This is the first time I have been this late since my periods returned or for three years apart from while I was pregnant and the time after. The whole thing is driving me crazy because I feel so rough and if I was pregnant at least I would know why and if I'm not then I would know it would end soon. I can see why people have suggested that I am fitting possible symptoms with pregnancy because it is what I want but I am certain something isn't right and I have never felt like this before and we have been trying for a while. Please let me know how it goes for you.

Thanks ladies... I ended up starting my period the 5th... So I guess I'm not pregnant... My husband and I was hoping but we now know and can keep trying... Thanks for the help though :)
