    Immigration help with admitted scammer.
    I am the petitioner of my wife from the philippines (K1) After marriage all other forms were submitted, status change-green card I-485, travel and work permit. Once she got the worker permit she said that she leaving after 3 months of marriage and all was a scam to come here and work and get her family here. She been gone 2 months and where abouts unknown. Is anyone I can report this to. She still has not freen card.

    Yes, report it to US Immigration - you must have her ID numbers and the name of the person who was assisting you.

    Agree with JudyKayTee, and you should send in a detailed letter to the USCIS, with your contact information as well. Note her name, A number , DOB, POB, and office that she got the PR. It should make it to her A file and the officer can refer to that when she applies for the I-751 R/C.

    VAWA question
    My wife, Filipino, now states that she was told to file a VAWA petition by her friend so she can stay in the US. And that there is nothing I can do to dispute this. She has told many people here about her scam and plans. They are more then willing to state the truth. Is there anything I can do ?

    Yes, make your statement regarding the details of the marriage, any allegations she may have regarding domestic violence and a list of witnesses that the USCIS officer can contact if they choose to investigate her VAWA claim.

    Please note that the VAWA cases are initially filed at the VSC, then she will be scheduled for the 245 interview at the local field office (LFO).
