    Tax witholdings
I am hoping someone can help with my withholdings. I work full time with an annual salary of 45, 200. I am claiming 5 dependents (I have three children that I can claim). I also work a part time job making around 4500 annually, with no withholdings. I do not know what to claim on the part time job. I only bring home around 95-100.00 a week so I would only want about 15 or 20 taking out. Do I claim just an additional amount or do a claim a certain # of dependents?

If you file a W4 with the part-time job, since you only make $4500/year most likely no federal tax would be withheld based on the standard withhodling rules, even if you claim 0 allowances. So it would be better to do as you suggest - request that a specific amount be withheld from each paycheck that you get from the part-time job.

Since you are already over half way through the year, have $20 per week withheld for the duration of 2010.

You can reduce that to $10 per week come January 2011.
