    My brother is a US citizen and I am a Canadain citizen,he has filed I-130 recently,what is the processing time?

    I-130 should be approved within 3-4 months but since you are in 4th preference group, you will have to wait for visa number which may take up to 10 years. From July 2010 visa bulletin, they're processing cases for 2001.

    What is 4th preference,since I am Canadian citizen does it reduce processing time since every contry has its specified quota.
