Ask a Vet to abort the puppies and then get her spayed.

How did they mate if you didn't want them to?

Agree with Judy. An emergency spay is the way to go, as you know 9 months is way too young for puppies.

How far along is she? How do you know she is pregnant?

Sorry, Emily, but I think that is immaterial. The dog needs to see a Vet and be spayed. If it's for a pregnancy check or something else, the dog really needs to go.

Yes, but I know vets in my area won't abort puppies after a certain time, it's supposivly too much of a risk. Also, if they took the dog
To the vet and he said she was pregnant then that vet would have told them
What to do, or they could have asked there vet while there.

I would assume the dog hasn't seen a Vet or the OP would know the options -

As a PS - if the Vet won't abort the pups the Vet should decide NOW if a C-section will be necessary. If this dog goes into labor as the OP said - at its age it could very well die.

Perhaps your experience with Vet care is different from mine, however.

Vets in my area won't abort puppies after a few weeks (I am not sure what there actual date is), because supposivly it is stressful on the mom to loose the puppies (Or something to that effect). If you want they will allow your dog to stay at the vet clinic the week before they are do if they need a C-section free of charge (As long as you supply the food). I'm assuming she didn't go to a vet, so the dog must be getting larger and showing signs so I am pretty sure the dog is pretty far along.

Until the OP comes back we don't know all the details.
They may just think she is preganant because they saw her mating with another dog, or she could be weeks away from birth.
We need to just wait for more information ;)
