Panasonic tau ct-27sc15 has white lines across the top 4
We have a 27" Panasonic Tau that has thin white lines across the top 4.5" of the screen. The lines do go away when a show is in widescreen. How do we get rid of these lines? Is there a way to set the TV to view in widescreen?

Panasonic 36" tau model # CT-36S31E... bought in 1999 Comes on easily ,but suddenly goes off as if someone had pulled the plug. Hitting the remote or power switch does not help @ this stage... you have to disconnect the power cord from the socket ,re-insert it & then hit the remote or power...
