My dog might have eaten incense!
My big dog Leone, who is 130 or some pounds, might of eaten or chewed up 4 sticks of Cherry-Vanilla incense. It was contained in 2 thin plastic incense bags,so basically I put a smaller bag in the slightly bigger bag.It was sitting on my low table with my burner, and I went to the table to light some, and it was gone.Leone has been caught chewing on some before, but I do not know if he actually ate some this time.Last time, none of the incense was actually digested, but this time,I can't find any remains or contents of it in the house.Maybe he hid it?But I know my family members didn't take or burn it.Should I be concerned? Is it poisonous? Can it make him sick?Should I take him to the vet?

I am not aware that incense is poisonous. Have you opened his "trap" and smelled for any telltale smell of the incense? Just watch him carefully and see if he gets indigestion over the next few hours. For a dog that large I would not be too concerned about it but if he was a say 15 lb yipe yipe I would be concerned about the bamboo sticks that the incense is usually formed on puncturing his intestines.

See how he acts for the next few hours and watch the "other end" for any signs of bamboo twigs coming out okay.

With out knowing the full list of ingreadients we wouldn't exactly know if it was poisonous. I haven't heard that INCENSE is poisonous, but I know some oils, and other natural ingredients may be. How ever, if he exhibits no strange behaviors with in 24 hours, I wouldn't be worried. I would be more worried about the splintering of the wood. But dogs stomachs are designed to eat, well, basically anything.
