Some people have told me don't eat dairy.. some people telling me to eat yoghurts and ice cream.. some say eat soup, some say don't eat hot food.

I'm quite hungry and id like something to eat!
To be specific I really want some tomato soup and bread and butter.. can I have that?

Also I smoke so how long afterwards can I start smoking again?
When can I chew gum?

For the next two weeks you are reduced to eating, basically, hospital food; soft squishy and cold or cool foods. Jello, pudding, bananas, marshmallows, ice cream, watermelon After two weeks you can indulge. As for smoking, well, nicotine will infect anything directly; maybe you should quit. Don't know about the smoking bit, sorry.

Tomato soup should be OK. Just be sure to rinse with mouthwash, or whatever your piercer recommended, after eating. Otherwise, you risk food staying in the piercing and getting infected.

Cold things, like ice tea or ice cream, will help keep swelling down. It'll also help numb any pain.

Since everyone is different, and every piercing heals differently, what may aggravate one person may be OK for another. The only way to know for sure, is to try. If it starts to irritate the piercing, then stop eating it.

Eat whatever. I had it done a week ago and I went home and had pizza, I caught it a few times but now it's perfectly fine!

But if it hurts too much stick to liquid based foods, icecubes, icecream, soup, etc...
Be sure to brush your teeth and use mouthwash. Xxx

I have no idea about food as I'm having the same problem myself. The only thing I can eat is soup. Its fine if you carry on smoking an hour after its pierced as long as every time you eat, drik or have a fag you use mouth wash afterwards.
