Can I collect from from 2 insurance policies on one lost diamond
My daughter's diamond fell out of her engagement ring on a cruise. She has a policy in North Carolina and I still have her ring on my policy here in Indiana from before she married and moved. Can we file a claim on both policies?

only to the value of the ring, the main policy would pay first, minus any deductables and then the second one could pay toward what the first did not pay.

If you tried to collect on both fully, that is fraud, and you could end up with nothing.
