    Headlamps do not come on
I just picked up my 1998 Dodge 2500 pickup truck from the repair shop. They were working on my backup lights. As the sun began to set, I turned on the headlights, only to discover that the headlights were not working and the repair shop had long since closed and the repair shop will not be open again until Monday morning.

    What should I do?

Um, its not that hard to go and replace the bulbs yourself. :) plus saves money. Just get the owners manual and lookup the kind of bulbs it takes. - cheerio! :D

You can do a quick bulb check---do parking lights work?
---do the lights come on with the light switch on?
Then it may be the bulbs
Check for high beam lights--if none of these lights work it may be the multi function switch (which can only be bought at the dodge dealer)

Have a 2002 nissan altima and am trying to replace my H1 headlamps. I know that I have to remove the headlight housing to replace the bulb, but cannot figure out how to remove it. The manual that came with the car states that I hae to return to the dealer to do this. NO WAY... Someone, please...
