    Smallest diamond
What is the smallest round diamond that can be set in a traditional prong setting?

I love the engagement ring my fiancé picked out, but we can't find a wedding band that will go with it anywhere! We talked to several jewelers, and our only option, it seemed, was to order a second copy of the engagement ring setting without a center stone and have it customized. The company that sells it offers free lifetime waranty and inspections as long as nobody else touches it. That company has in-house jewelers, but their jewelers are forbidden from doing custom work. Having someone else set a stone voids the warranty. I can't lose the warranty, because the wedding band was poorly made (though the original engagement ring is perfect!) and I need it fixed. The nearest branch of the company is over 3 1/2 hours away! (My fiancé lives in a different state.) I could have it fixed and could have a teeny tiny stone put in a head (not considered custom) so it doesn't look quite so bad, but they don't list anything under .2 cts. On their website, and .2 cts. Is too big. Is it worth driving almost 4 hours? Can they set something around .05-.10 cts in a prong setting? The wedding is in 11 days!

I would say, bobo, make the drive and get it settled, or you won't be happy.
