Oh I so needed a little respite in the castle.

Every thread I visited recently has been about someone being hurt by someone else behaving like a jerk, from someone worried about child abuse to people damaged by the past. I know it's what happens but sometimes the sheer volume of hurting on here is a bit discouraging.

So nice to hang out with some healthy exchange as a balancer - even if I have wiled away the best part of an hour catching up. Still after reading about the 10 hour stints some of you have had I don't feel too bad lol.

I was going to hide away in the dungeon to recuperate but the postman just delivered me some new baking ingredients so I'm going to get busy in the kitchen. I ordered some lacuma to try adding to my raw chocolate recipes as I need something nice and creamy but dairy-free. We are going to friends for dinner and the wife cannot have any dairy which means no chocolate usually so I'm whipping up some special chocs as a gift to take.

The supplier even sent me some extra free goodies which was a nice surprise.

So the castle spook will be rattling around in the kitchen for a while. I'll try not to make too much mess or scare anybody. I'm a friendly kind of spook, honest.

Whooooooooo, whip, beat, moaaaaaaaan, melt, pour, wail.. chain-rattling.

Mmmm, not sure I'm the most convincing spook lol.

I had a teacher in high school that stressed the importance of pre-screening videos. When she was student teacher her host teacher had her put in a movie for the students to watch while he graded papers. She put the movie in, then went into his office to help him with the grading. About 20 minutes later, he went in to check on them.

The movie he had given her to put in showed a rather informative view of his and his wife's 'extra-curricular' activities. The vcr had been 'altered' to keep students from messing with it, meaning it could only be operated with the remote, which she had taken into the office with her.

The students were either too embarrassed, or interested, to go tell them what had happened. And, apparently, none of them thought to just turn off the TV.

For about 20 minutes a room full of hormonal teenagers got an in-depth techni-color look into their teacher's personal life. To say he was mortified would be an understatement.

Good Morning everybody. Thanks for all the support. I am doing better but have my times. I have been surrounded by friends the whole time and Have been at his moms house every day to keep her comforted. His funeral was sad of course but we tried to make it happy. Unlike most funerals you would go to. We listened to his favorite music and stuff that wasn't a downer. One song before the service started we actually started singing and got most of the people to sing with us. It was his favorite song of course. So, we made the most of it and I think he would have liked it.

I feel bad that she may have to learn this lesson the hard way, but hey, she's 15, she probably thinks she knows everything. Hopefully this lesson will be learned without a baby as a constant reminder.

She should stay sober and keep her legs crossed. That's my opinion.

Emop, I was molested by my teen cousin from the time I was 5. This is totally different.

These are two kids, both the same age, happen to be related, got drunk, got stupid, had sex, or if she's to be believed, they just "did stuff".

    They're both equally guilty.
