Hi all,

My Girlfriend and I have been getting on strong for quite some time now. We've had our problems in the past (some of you may remember me), but now something has come up which I didn't expect and I don't know how to handle it.

My girl and I were talking on MSN last night and we were getting a little playful with each other. When we were talking about the future and that we would always have an interesting sex life, she suddenly brought up the subject of threesomes, and asked if I would do one. I said no. I love her, and I would not want to sleep with anyone else. I asked her if she would, and she said "yes i would".

This has hurt me deeply, because I never thought she would ever feel the want to bring someone else (she said male or female), into our sex life. I feel like part of the trust I built in her (that she would never bed anyone else) is not gone, because she would do it.

How do I fix this insecurity with her? She knows I am upset, but I'm not sure she fully understands how I feel. She said she wouldn't do it with out me agreeing, but it's the fact she'd consider it despite the fact we always said we'd be enough for each other, and how much we are in love.

How do I approach her about it?

How about sitting down face-to-face and discussing the issues? Both of you taking turns to talk and listen.

It sounds like it is more fantasy to her than reality. Can you be okay with looking at it in that way?

Just because she told you she would be up for a 3 some doesn't meant she's betrayed you she's been honest with you, don't fault the girl for that. Talk to her. And both of you listen to each other.
