Ok, so after 2 years of putting up with my stepmom I finally snapped and cussed her out. She claims to be all about "respect" when she's done nothing but disrespect me for as long as I've known her. She makes sexual comments about what she and my dad do in their "private time", and even though I tell her that not only is that gross, but its illegal, and id like her to stop, she keeps doing it. She's the only person who didn't say "Happy Birthday" to me (when I was with her all day), and she's the only one who didn't congratulate me when I graduated from high school. She makes me work for her (no pay) then whines that I don't have a job. She tells me not to worry about college, then when others are around she whines that I'm not looking for anything. I have a sister who has nothing to do with my dad because of her, and I'm starting to get in the same boat. She's driving my dad away from his kids, I haven't spoken to my dad in a month because of her. I honestly can't think of a single nice thing she's said to me. I would talk to my dad about it, but SHE answers his phone. I can't speak to my dad without going though her. I had a special fishing trip (for my birthday) with my dad, sister, and brother in law for this weekend. Everyone is going... except me. I've been looking forward to it all month. At my sisters wedding, she sat in the front aisle IN MY MOTHERS SEAT, and got up during the ceremony and walked around taking pictures. She's not even my stepmom yet, I just say that for lack of a better word.

I just want to know why is she trying to tear me away from my dad? What does she gain from all of this? I feel like its already too late to salvage any relationship with my dad.

She goes into intimate detail about what she does with my dad. Your not allowed to do that around a minor. I'm not a minor anymore, but I just turned 18 afew days ago.

Maybe you should try a little harder to talk to your father.

I think you should spend less time around her. How about that "job" she mentions?

You're 18 now, and should be looking at alternative arrangements in the near future.

So you don't like her, your dad does, and you have to respect that often with step parents. So don't do anything with her.

But it is not excuse of course for your rudeness either.

I've been looking for a job, I've been looking into colleges to. I've already decided to not have anything to do with her. This in turn, means I no longer have anything to do with my dad. 2/3 kids have no contact with him, lets see how long my sister lasts.
