Last week I had really bad stomach pains to the point I was doubled over but also had all the signs of a water infection. I seen my doctor and they confirmed it was a water infection and gave me some medication even though I did state I was blood present as well. Later on during the evening it was getting worse (blood) and I had a clot. Worried out of my head I called the out of the hours doctors where an on call nurse said I might have had a miscarriage.
I was just wondering has this happened to anyone else?

By water infection I assume you mean UTI or urinary tract infection?

even though I did state I was blood present

Can you clarify the above? What do you mean by "blood present?"

Have you been diagnosed as pregnant? If so, by whom and how far along?

i.e. blood every time I went the loo... nah it wasn't clarified because I would have only been about 2 weeks gone but as soon as that blood clot came out... all my symptoms went... and so did the water infection

Most miscarriages, if indeed you were pregnant, are usually of an unknown origin. Rarely, if ever, is a miscarriage diagnosed strictly from a UTI.

At 2 weeks, if you were indeed pregnant, most women don't even know they are pregnant that early. The common cause of miscarriage that early is of a chromosomal abnormality.

Yeah I know that because I didn't know I was until I described all my symptoms to the on call nurse who said it's a possibility I might be having a miscarriage

As a nurse, I can tell you that I NEVER tell a patient that they are or are not possibly pregnant over the phone. The symptoms of pregnancy can be caused by a number of other illnesses.

A possibility of pregnancy includes a positive pregnancy test, among other indicators. Pregnancy, as an OB nurse, is never diagnosed without a shadow of a doubt, without at LEAST an ultrasound.

There are a few things that can cause a positive urine and/or blood pregnancy test when there is actually no pregnancy occurring.
