    My brother was charged with kidnapping
    He was charged for kidnapping even though she was able to leave any time she wanted to. And was able to get home and go to police station

    I know about this. Tell Mrs. N to give you my number.. we need to talk. I went through kidnapping laws with my daughter. Florida Laws are SOOOO screwed up!

    Your problem appears to be an ex-boyfriend (or husband) or didn't return a child. The OP appears to be discussing an adult - who was able to get up and leave.
