    Bad choice
So I bought a car for a friend with bad credit and she promised to pay the car note on time. Well after six months it has been a hassle getting her to pay the note on time. Some months I put my own money towards the bill to aviod a late payment and it's driving me crazy. Is their anything I can do to get this car out my name, please help me?

Well considerthe old saying once burned twice learned.

Are you saying the car is in her name or yours? Did she sign anything agreeing to make the payments or did you sign for the loan? If the car is in your name you can always sell it.

It's in my name only, I hate that I did this to myself.

Is the car in your name or the loan in your name? If you have title to the car, then take possession and sell it. You probably will not make enough to cover the loan, but at least you can get rid of the debt sooner.

You can, then, sue your friend to recover what you have paid. Though collecting may be an issue.

Yes, if you take the car back if they are not paying, or at least make it clear that you will. At least you keep it in your name, you would be surprised how many people don't
