This is a central air unti with a condenser outside... Im not to sure what it is... Last night I smelled like a burnt smell through my vents but it was still blowing cold air so I did not think of anything... This morning I woke up and heard it trying to kick on but it was not blowing any air through my vents... Don't know if this helps you to help me answer my problem... Thanks

Posible capicitor,it's the cheapest part to replace first if you don`t have a capicitor tester,it's a small oblong type canister located on the blower motor housing, with 2 wires plugged to it,, replace with an exact match, the numbers will be written on the side,, costs around $10-$12 if you do it yourself
