    Good job hunting sites
    HI there,

I am looking for a few sites that I can find a job. I just recently got suspended for something that wasn't my fault, and I'm just tired of this so-called non-profit agency and all it's back-stabbing and lies when we are supposed to be here to help people not play games. I need a new job.

I really like Craigslist and Yahoo Hotjobs as they are easy to apply for jobs through, so I'm looking for something similar to those. Honestly, just something that doesn't have a ton of ads instead of real jobs or college links instead of real jobs. Preferably something that posts email addresses to apply through. Anything helps. Thanks.

Of course remember on craigs list and others there are scams, places that claim to be offering jobs, even send applications, I9 forms and more but end up just wanting to steal your identity.

But there is no one good source, the web for your local news papers, monster, craigs list Yahoo and more.

The best way is though people you know more often, and just going in person calling on places.

Remember if it is real easy to apply then 100's will be applying, the harder it is to apply the fewer to compete with

Thanks Chuck! You're always a big help! I suppose I will going out tomorrow and passing out apps to Optical shops! BOO! I don't miss the profession, but if there's a place that offers commission as well as base, I will be happy. Private practices generally don't, but I can't do retail again.

    Hi, Momma!

Have you tried the following sites?

SWWDC : Southwest Washington Workforce Development Council

    https://fortress.wa.gov/esd/worksource/Employment.aspx

The ones like them around where I live, will actually send me email notifications when positions are open that fit my experience and qualifications.

    Thanks!

Thanks for the links, Clough. Yeah, I get too much junk mail to sign up for more emails. They'd just get filtered into my junk folder and never talked about again...

The emails from those kinds of sites aren't junk...

They never were for me, anyway.
