It is a matter of personal preference as far as I am concerned.
I am "old school" on this matter and would not be comfortable doing it. Also sharp objects in that area make me nervous.

From what I gather from younger people and porn stars , it is the fashion now and is suppose to make you appear larger. For whatever that's worth.

You should be more concerned about how the people who are going to come into contact with that area feel about it.
And if it itches like a beard does when it is regrowing I don't know how anyone could stand that.

But I can see no real harm so... lather up!

I'm not much of a shaver... like martinizing said, any sharp objects near that area... I'm more focused than I am when suturing up a patient.

I'm more of a trimmer. I keep it neat.

Ive seen this on a male, and personally thought it looked weird, trimmed is fine, and looks kind of tidy.

Ive also heard males think it makes them look bigger, I think that's possibly wishful thinking,I understand there is a trend for this in many areas, I suppose its like everything else, up to the individual, and how they feel about it. I hear it can also be done by laser and there is no regrowth!

I know there was a phase in UK a few years back for this, and also legs and chest hairs were also waxed or shaven.
Also men were having brazilians also by waxing. Yeeeeeowlllllllll

First, you need to pay more attention to the rules of this site. The Adult Sexuality forum is for Adults only.

Now this has been moved to the Teens forum, but I have a problem with this question. That you ask this question indicates you are sexually active. At 17 that is a dangerous situation. I think you need to worry more about schoolwork and college rather than how attractive you might be to the opposite sex when nude.
