    Moving out of state with joint custody
    Mom whom child lives with does not want to live there, plus they are moving out of state in the next 30 days. (Just found out).. Can I get a quick court date to prevent my child leaving? He is 9 yrs. Old. Very SMART and wants to be with his father, who has joint custody.

    You get an attorney and file for an emergancy hearing.

    If she moves, the court can order her to return the child to the state.
