Theft as a youth .
Hi, I am a 15 year old male living in Ontario Canada, On August 20 2009 my life changed, me and my friend walked into a store, and got caught shoplifting except I did not shoplift but I was with him. The cops came and told us it was a warning, I know somewhere there is my name in the file but I want to know if it is a youth record? I did not get my finger print taken, did not go to court, did not get charged and did not get convicted of a crime. I was hired for a full time job at the library and they require police clearance, I am scared to not be able to get the job because I don't know weather it will show on the police clearance or not, can someone please let me know if it will show or not ? Or what are the chances of it showing, thanks

If you weren't taken to the station and booked nor were you at a trial of any kind. Then there is no hard record. It would only be an incident report in case you were to do it again. Since charges were never pressed against you then consider yourself lucky. Your off the hook completely.

Yes, nothing happened did not go to the station, did not get charged, when the cops came they did not even talk to me,they just talked to the thief which is my friend which I hate so much right now for doing that to me, so you think it will now shot on my police record check ?

You don't have a police record at this point. At least not a criminal record of any kind.

At most there is a incident card with your name on it, but most likely nothing. It does not go into any computer bank to be found.
If you one day become prime minister of Canada, you never know someone who knew you then will sell the story to the newspaper
