    Postpartum
    I had a baby on 6th dec 2009 it was a long painful vaginal delivery suffered 2nd degree tear(baby was sunny side up had an episiotomy and baby was sucked with a vacuum) ),my perineum still hurts when pressed or I sit in squatting position. I'm nursing my baby period returned on 28th April 2010 which was heavier than it used to be with lot of pain lasted for 7 days in may period started on 22nd it was light and brownish most of the days ended in 7 days then in June I started having spotting on 17th continued till 22nd it was light/heavy red /brown occasionally then on 23rd proper period started ended on 3rd now on 15th July I'm again having red spotting.Is it normal to have such irragular periods once they start or is there something wrong?

    They can go either way while nursing. Some women will have them be quite regular, for others they can be irregular. You may find, when you get to where you are nursing less often, they will become regular again. If they continue to be irregular, and cause you concern, have your doctor check things out for you. Worth the peace of mind... :)
