I like my cousins boyfriend. ivd had a thing for him since he got with my cousin me and him where friends at first before he even met my cousin. When I really started to get close to him was because of my cousin will invite me everywhere with her and boyfriend. When I try to back off and leave them alone they wouldn't let me because I was always starting the conversation I would talk to this guy more then my kuzin did. I don't know why he and me just out of the bloom became bst friends. My kuzin didn't seem to have a promblem. So we didn't have a promblem we see each other as friends but out of no where a friend of mine made me realize that I had a thing for him I don't know how. Then since then I tryd not to flirt but it seem like he will flirt with me. What can I do? Suddenly every body would say that it seem like me and him where going out instead of my kuzin. I felt bad but I kouldnt resist it. Every body told her that I was going to steal him away but the last night when we where together she confessed that she didn't like him as she use to . She new we had a thing for each other she told me that she kould tell by the look. I try to tell her I didn't like her I try to lie but she made me confess to tell her the truth. Then she told me that she was still in love with her ex and that she didn't have a promblem with me if I got with her boyfriend. But the promblem is that her boyfriend met most of the family and I told that that be wrong because everyone new him as her boyfriend and not mine and if I get with him then they are going to think wrong of me. I'm confuse because I really like this guy but I got other people to think about first and 2nd of all I don't know if he feels the same for me... ooo and I went out with his best friend and his best friend fell in love with me but told him that I didn't feel the same for him and that kuoldnt be with him bkuz I didn't want to hurt more then I did. What should I do?

First, if your cousin doesn't feel the same about him as she did, then they need to talk and see if the relationship can be saved or officially end it.

Next, if they end it, they both need to make sure they are over the relationship before they move on to new people, whoever those new people are.

IF they break up, you need to give him time to heal. He needs to give himself time to heal. A lot of people skip that step and end up like your cousin still thinking about the ex while dating someone else.

During that healing time which can take weeks or months, family and friends will get used to them not being a couple. It won't seem as horrible IF you do start dating him. Some of them, like your cousin, may even be going 'it's about time'.

However, don't just sit around waiting for him. Live your own life as he should be living his. You may meet someone else. He may meet someone else. You may end up together.
