I have a craftsman riding mower that will not star when I shoot starter fluid in it will run for a min but then dies shortly after. I have went through the whole carb and cleaned everything and it still does the same thing. I check th float bowl and gas is coming in but won't start? And the plug is good and has sprk.

Won't start. It turns over and runs on starting fluid for a few seconds. Carb looked clean, fuel hose was not blocked, neither was the breather hose. Maybe the carb screws need adjusted.

Hi,
Your engine HP does not match the Model # given. Family has to do with EPA certification. Time to disassemble the carb and do a proper job of cleaning.
