    Filing taxes after bankruptcy
    I filed Chpt 7 this year and I am wondering how it will, if it will affect my filing. What documents do I need to share with my accountant? etc.

    The chapter 7 will probably NOT affect your tax filing at all.

    However, do tell your accountant about the bankruptcy, just in case.

Approximately how long does it take once you've filled out the bankruptcy forms does it take to file? Does it depend on the State you live in or the court schedule?

I have used both TurboTax and Hrblock online tax preparation forms, and on both, I get that whether I am claimed as a dependent or not, my refund is the same, when I think I would get a bigger refund if Im not claimed as a dependent, at least that's how its worked in the past.
