Are you saying... you got arrested because you accompanied your uncle to a store where he used a stolen credit card to pay for merchandice and you got caught as an accomplice.

You are due for your second hearing on August 6.

Is this correct? What you wrote is VERY difficult to read.

What did your lawyer tell you?

There are two threads on this same subject - https://www.askmehelpdesk.com/crimin...ud-486757.html.

This post (here) leaves out the criminal impersonation charge.

I fail to see how the Uncle's use of a stolen/borrowed credit card ended up with the OP being criminally charged.

    Hello p:

I can't tell if you USED the card, or you're the merchant and the card was used in your shop. But, it doesn't really matter. You haven't provided enough information to give you a good answer.

If the guy/you used the card to steal a LOT of money, and the guy/you has an extensive criminal record, and the guy/you doesn't have a lawyer, he/you could go to jail for YEARS.

However, if the guy/you is a first offender, and the crime wasn't for much money, and the guy/you has a good lawyer, the guy/you will probably get probation.

I think I already answered this on the other thread - agree with Excon.
