    Workmen compensation benefit
    I am 100% disabled due to an on the job injury. My average weekly wage for 2009 was $750. What should my compensation check be?

    It is set by your state law. Here in Georgia it is 60 percent of your current wages at the time of injury.

    That is only for a certain number of weeks, till you are either well, or you will receive government disability

    If you are 100% disabled have you applied for Social Security Disability yet? WC only goes for so many weeks and you could end up not receiving any money until the SSD kicks in if you are approved. You could wait for months to get approved and the WC could and will run out.
