We have a mystery smell in the hallway closet that only happens in summer- help
For the past three years (ONLY in the summer), we notice a very bad odor coming from the first floor coat closet. This only happens during hot days in the summertime (90 degrees and above). I say it smells like sewer, my husband thinks it smells like dead animal. We cut an exploritory hole and found nothing. The wall was clean, no evidence of mold and it is dry. We went to the basement and looked from there and saw nothing. Help
