    Why in.readline() deprecated in java6.0.. What is the feature superseded it..
    Just a quick question.

    If you are using the DataInputStream Class, it is suggested to use the method: BufferedReader.readLine();

    Example:

    Old way
    Code:
    DataInputStream d = new DataInputStream(in);

    New way
    Code:
    BufferedReader d = new BufferedReader(new InputStreamReader(in));
