    Hair coloring!? Help!
Okay, I am 17 and I have been coloring my hair since about Freshman year, or maybe even 8th grade.. I've always just done blonde and brown.. When I was little my hair was blonde, but now my natural hair color is light brown. But I've colored my hair dark brown, light blonde, and everything in between! Lol! Now I am a blonde. The exact color I've been using is loriel preferences champagne blonde. But I want to try red. Not like bright red, but an auburn or amber color.. I found the exact color I want to do the other day in a box at wal-mart.. So what I want to know is should I color over my blonde hair with the red like I've always done when I go back and forth from blonde to brown and brown to blonde.. Or should I use a hair color remover first?

Even though I have colored it so much, my hair is extremely healthy and I'd really like to keep it that way so if the color remover is going to totally damage my hair, I do not want to do it. Please help me! Any info and help would be great! But like I mentioned, I'm 17 and can't afford the salon all the time so that won't work.

Thanks in advance for all your help! :)

I tried putting red on my blonde hair and would never suggest anyone try it.

The blonde grabs the red (in an ugly fashion), and even with color removers it doesn't come out.
