    Okay... I'm really confused.

You're on birth control pills and TRYING to get pregnant? Doesn't one negate the other?

The birth control pill changes your hormones, in most cases to prevent you from ovulating at all. NOT taking the pill consistently can certainly cause you to become pregnant, yes. However, I'm really confused by HOW you are taking the pill... are you working with a doctor on this?

Why did you start taking birth control pills if you were planning on getting pregnant? Now, you should wait 2-3 months after taking birth control pills before you try to conceive.

The more birt control pills you miss, the more likely you are to become pregnant. Therefore, since you have made several attempts, I wouldn't doubt it if you are pregnant, even if you are showing no signs.

Once you stopped taking birth control pills, your hormone level started to decline. When they decline, your body (uterus) starts to bleed as a result in the flucuation in hormone levels; this bleeding can be referred to as breakthrough bleeding or dysfunctional uterine bleeding.

However, this bleeding does not take away from your chance of becoming pregnant, nor does it rule out the possibility of a miscarriage or sponteaneous abortion, which sign is also bleeding with the passage of clots. Therefore, if you have had no passage of clots, the pregnancy can be saved (if you were/are pregnant) so, you should consult with your Physician for a pregnancy test, at once.

    Hope this answers your question!
