Cable type "XLP"
This is referring back to a post regarding the use of "MI - XLP" cable as Service Feeders.
I have again searched through Article 310.13 / Table 310.13(A) and cannot find any cable type listed as "XLP".
Is Table 310.13(A) a complete list of acceptable cable types? (I guess not)
Where can I find more cable types and "XLP" cable descriptions if T310.13(A) is not a complete list?

XLP, properly known as XLPE is the actual material, that will be rated as an insulation, such as XHHW, for example.
Various types of insulation listed in the NEC will be made of XLPE.
You can do a search for XLPE.

TK,
I'm at a loss, I cannot find either "XLP or XLPE" anywhere in the 2008 NEC.
I did find "XLPE" using Bing and Google, but nothing that lists it in the NEC.
Could this be considered a "Covered" conductor?
I also understand what you said about it being in the chemical make up of the insulation material.
Is there an actual insulation type "XLPE or XLP" in the NEC code?

XLP is the material that certain insulations are made of, as I said, such as XHHW, which is an insulation.
