Horse film?
I watched it when I was younger in either '01 or '02 and it was about a horse that was living out in the desert and there was a native that taught the horse how to get water from the ground because the horse hadn't always lived in the desert. I vaguely remember a train in the beginning that was out in the desert and I think the horse got separated from the train. The film was not animated, by the way
