    Hi,
    I hope you can help me, I was using Firefox 1.5 without any problems, now I can't get into Firefox. The only way I am able to search is by using Internet Explorer. I want Firefox back as it had all of my bookmarks. I have tried to download Firefox again and when I do I get to a certain point when it tells me to close Firefox window before I can continue download, when I close Firefox window, it asks me if I want to cancel download - either way I cannot get Firefox back again.

    What operating system are you using? Firefox is currently at version 3.6.6 - you should have been prompted to update Firefox a long time ago. Yvor FF bookmarks are likely not lost though. Is this a computer on a corporate network?

    Hi I was using Firefox 1.5 I can't remember whether Firefox asked me to upgrade or nog. This is a private computer

    Try uninstalling
    FF from Add/Remove Programs then downloading a fresh install of FF from its site.

    Hi
    This is so weird. I went to unistall Firefox and the same thing happened in order to uninstall Firefox I must close Firefox window down. I am using Internet Explorer as I cannot open Firefox. I obviously still have this on my computer, but when I double click on the Firefox icon nothing happens
