    FLA. Law boyfriend eviction
    Why is it that we have to give thirty days notice to someone you don't want in your home and they are not legally on the lease and they can leave sooner without a problem and that person has money to get their own place..?. I told my ex verbaly he has thirty days to get out and he said noway that he paids the rent... so what if he did.. I am legally and only on the lease not him.. I am trying to make it right... but feel uncomfortable having him there,, h-e-l-p!! Give me a good answer

    You can call the cops, or go to court.

    There is a process you have to go through. And by verbal may not be good enough. It may have to be given in writing. If he has paid the rent then by proxy your agreeing to sublet allowing him to be there. You need to do this legally.
