    Percentage increase is given by the increase divided by the initial value, times 100%.

    Example
    I eat 10 apples in a month. Now, I decide to eat 15 apples in a month.

    The increase is 15-10 = 5 apples

    The percentage increase is =

    Now, do it with your problem and post your answer. :)

    It's all good, no worries, you can continue telling people that they shouldn't post their homework, which is good. :)
