    Mower stops running after 30 minutes
    I have a craftsman 42 inch mower with a 17hp b&s mower... 7/8 yrs old... cranks and runs fine for about 30/45 minutes... sounds like starveing for gas and cuts off... will crank back up and run for a minute or so and does the same thing again... new fuel line and filter... new coil... same problem... its running me nuts... any thought!!

    Checkl for a good connection of the small wire under the carb bowel. Wiggle it and push it in so it clicks.

    Sounds like the fuel cap isn't venting,might try blowing the cap out,
