    I just got a 96z71 the man said they ran it out ofgas he put gas back in but willnot fire off u canhear the fule pumprunning but all it does is spin over what could problem be

    It's possible the Ignition Control Module (ICM) is bad--very common on these older trucks. Easy to replace.
